Pricing & Plans

Does BestWebby charge transaction fees?

No. BestWebby charges only a flat monthly or annual subscription fee. All payment processing fees are between you and your payment gateway (Stripe, Razorpay, etc.) — we never take a percentage of your sales.

What happens if I exceed my product or storefront limit?

We notify you when you're approaching your plan limits and suggest upgrading. We never cut off your store mid-month — you have a full grace period to upgrade before any limits are enforced.

Can I switch between plans mid-cycle?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No penalties or cancellation fees.

Is there a free trial on paid plans?

Yes — all paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start.

How does annual billing work?

You pay for 12 months upfront at a discounted rate (approximately 20% off). Your subscription renews annually unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Do you offer nonprofit or startup discounts?

Yes, on a case-by-case basis. Email [email protected] with your organization details, and we'll review within 3 business days.

Can I cancel anytime?

Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans are refundable within the first 30 days. After 30 days, no refunds are issued for annual plans.

Payments & Money

Does BestWebby hold my customer payments?

Never. BestWebby is middleware — you connect your own payment gateway and all customer payments flow directly to your account. BestWebby only collects your subscription fee.

Which payment gateways are supported?

Stripe (US, UK, EU, CA, AU and 40+ more), Razorpay (India), Flutterwave (Africa), Paystack (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, SA), PayPal (global), Klarna (BNPL), Clearpay (BNPL). More gateways are added regularly.

What if I'm in a country where Stripe isn't available?

Connect your local gateway (Razorpay for India, Flutterwave/Paystack for Africa, etc.). Your customer payments flow through your local gateway. BestWebby subscription fees are collected separately via Stripe or PayPal.

Can I offer Buy Now Pay Later to my customers?

Yes — Klarna and Clearpay are supported for orders over £50/€50/$50. The 'Pay in 3' widget appears on product pages and checkout automatically once connected.

How do subscription / recurring billing payments work?

BestWebby uses Stripe Subscriptions to manage recurring billing. When a customer subscribes to a product, charges happen automatically on their billing date. You see MRR, churn, and active subscriber counts in your analytics dashboard.

Marketplaces & Integrations

How many marketplaces can I connect?

Growth plans and above include access to all 63 marketplace connectors. You can connect as many simultaneously as your catalog supports.

Is marketplace sync truly two-way?

Yes. When you update a product in BestWebby, the change propagates to all connected channels within 60 seconds. When an order comes in from any marketplace, it lands in your unified order inbox and inventory decrements immediately.

Can I import my existing Shopify store?

Yes. Our Shopify import tool migrates your full product catalog, customer list, and order history. Average migration time is under 30 minutes. Your Shopify store remains live during migration — no downtime.

Does BestWebby support Amazon FBA?

Yes. The Amazon connector supports both FBA and FBM. Inventory for FBA products is tracked separately from your own warehouse stock.

AI Features

Do I need to configure the AI features?

No. All 32 AI engines activate automatically when you register. They read your product catalog, order history, and business settings — then go to work. You can adjust parameters, but you don't have to.

What does the Dynamic Pricing Engine actually do?

It adjusts your product prices in real time based on demand signals, competitor pricing, time of day, local weather, events, and visitor behavior — within the floor and ceiling prices you set. You stay in control; the engine optimizes within your rules.

Can the AI take actions without my approval?

The Autonomous Business Agent can take pre-approved actions (price adjustments within your set range, accept orders, send templated responses). For anything outside your defined rules, it escalates to you for manual approval.

Is customer data used to train AI models?

No. Your merchant data and customer data are never used to train shared AI models. The AI engines are trained on commerce-specific datasets, not on your business's private data.

POS & In-Store

What hardware does BestWebby POS require?

Any iPad, Android tablet, or web browser. For card payments, BestWebby integrates with Stripe Terminal — you can register readers directly from the POS interface, no Stripe Dashboard required.

Does the POS work without internet?

Yes. BestWebby POS operates offline using Stripe Terminal's offline mode. Transactions queue locally and sync automatically when connectivity is restored.

Can I track sales per employee?

Yes. Each cashier clocks in with a personal PIN. Every sale is attributed to the cashier. You get end-of-day performance reports per employee and can identify discrepancies in cash reconciliation.

Does BestWebby support multi-location POS?

Yes — on Scale and Enterprise plans. Each location has its own inventory pool, POS sessions, and reports. Inventory deducts from the correct location on every sale.

Security & Compliance

Is BestWebby SOC 2 certified?

SOC 2 Type II audit is scheduled for Q4 2026. All required controls are implemented. We'll publish the report once the formal audit is complete.

Is BestWebby GDPR compliant?

Yes. BestWebby is fully GDPR compliant. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available at /legal/dpa. Enterprise customers can request a signed DPA for their records.

Where is my data stored?

Data is stored on AWS in EU-West (Frankfurt) and US-East (Virginia) regions, depending on your location. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

How do I report a security vulnerability?

Email [email protected] with a detailed description. We acknowledge all reports within 24 hours and aim to resolve valid vulnerabilities within 30 days.

Getting Started

How long does it take to set up BestWebby?

Most merchants are fully set up within a day — storefront live, products imported, payment gateway connected, and first marketplace synced. If migrating from Shopify, catalog import typically takes under 30 minutes.

Do I need technical skills to use BestWebby?

No. BestWebby is designed for merchants, not developers. All features are configurable through the dashboard interface. Technical documentation is available for developers who want to extend the platform via the API.

What support is available?

All plans include email support. Scale and Enterprise plans include priority support with faster response SLAs. Enterprise includes a dedicated account manager.
