Finance & operations: questions merchants ask
Does BestWebby run payroll?
No. HR & timesheets records who worked when, managers approve the hours, and you export them for Gusto, ADP Workforce Now, Wagepoint or any provider as a CSV. Your payroll provider calculates pay, tax and deductions.
Are the carbon figures measured?
No. They are estimates worked out from parcel weight, distance and published UK government emission factors, and they are labelled as estimates everywhere. Pledges are your own record: BestWebby does not buy, sell or verify offsets.
Does BestWebby take a share of my sales?
No. You connect your own Stripe account, the charge is made on it and the funds land in it. We add no transaction fee on top of what your processor charges.
