AI Storefront Generator: Describe Your Shop, Get a Designed Site

Overview

Go to Channels → AI storefront generator (/launch). Describe your shop — what you sell, who it's for, and a few words on the feel you want (minimal, playful, premium, eco-friendly) — and it designs a complete starting point: brand colour, support colour, a font pairing, a homepage layout, and real homepage copy, built from your actual products.

Step 1: Describe your shop

Fill in a sentence or two about what you sell and who it's for, and optionally a short style brief (e.g. "minimal & premium, eco-friendly"). You don't need design vocabulary — plain language is enough.

Step 2: Generate

Click generate. You get back:

• A brand colour and a support colour, a heading/body font pairing, and a homepage layout.
• Real homepage copy — a hero heading, subheading and call-to-action, plus named product sections — built from the products you actually have, not placeholder text. These are written as blocks on your home page, as a draft: nothing on the home page changes for shoppers until you open it in the builder and publish it.
• Why it looks like this — a plain-language explanation for each choice (the colour's contrast reasoning, why that type pairing, why that layout), shown right on the result and later on Channels → Appearance any time you want to check it again.
• Whether AI was used for the direction and the copy, stated plainly rather than implied.

Step 3: Review the home page, then publish

The result links straight to your home page in the builder. What happens there depends on the page you already have:

• No home page yet: a new one is created, unpublished.
• An unpublished home page it wrote before: it is replaced with the new layout.
• A live home page: the live page is not touched. The layout is saved as its draft, so the builder shows Draft changes not published. Publish it, or use Discard draft to go back to the live version.
• A home page you built by hand that is not live, or a live one with your own unpublished edits: it is left alone, and the result says so. Only the colours and fonts change.

The brand colour, corners and fonts apply to your storefront straight away; only the home page waits for you.

Step 4: Keep it, or undo

If you don't like the result, Undo takes you straight back to the colours, type and layout you had before — nothing is lost. Undo does not touch the home page draft; discard that in the builder. Past generations are kept as a history (up to the last 12), so you can compare or go back further than just the last one.

Good to know

• The colour, type and layout are never picked directly by an AI model — a deterministic design system turns a small set of style choices into the final look, which is why two shops with similar descriptions still end up looking different rather than identical.
• Running it again on a store that already has a design generates a fresh one and snapshots the current one first, so Undo always has something to go back to.
