Insights: Health Score, Board Report, Cash Flow, Restock and Keyword Ideas

One page of business read-outs built from your own figures: a health score, a monthly board report, a 30, 60 and 90-day cash outlook, restock suggestions, keyword ideas and recall notices.

Overview

Insights → Insights gathers several read-outs on tabs:

  • Health score — a score from 0 to 100, worked out from your sales, reviews and catalogue.
  • Pricing rules — where to set prices that change by quantity, customer group, stock or date.
  • Board report — a short monthly report on your business.
  • Predictive SEO — keywords likely to trend in the next month.
  • Cash flow — a 30, 60 and 90-day cash outlook.
  • Inventory — restock suggestions from your last 90 days of paid orders and the stock you have now.
  • Regulatory radar — public recall notices that may concern your products.

Insights is part of the Growth plan and above; the Regulatory radar tab needs the Scale plan.

The board report, keyword ideas and cash outlook are written automatically from your figures. Each one you generate uses one of your plan's daily automatic drafts, and you can generate each up to 30 times an hour. Restock suggestions are worked out directly from your orders and stock, so they use no drafts. Treat all of them as a starting point for your own judgement, not as accounting or legal advice.

Health score

The score is the weighted total of five parts, each from 0 to 100. Each part shows its own score and weight, and alerts appear under the gauge when something needs attention.

PartWeightWhat it reads
Revenue Growth35%Sales in your store's currency in the last 30 days against the 30 days before. Flat scores 50; each percent of growth adds a point, each percent of decline takes one away.
Customer Satisfaction30%Your average approved review rating, out of 5. With no reviews it assumes 3 stars.
Review Management15%100, less 5 for each review waiting for your approval.
Product Catalog10%5 points for each product live in your shop (status Active), up to 100. Drafts, archived products and products held for review do not count.
Sales channel reach10%10 points for each listing live on a connected channel under Channels → Sell everywhere (approved, created on the channel, and the channel Connected), up to 100.

Alerts appear when revenue is down more than 20% on the previous 30 days, more than 10 reviews are waiting, your average rating is below 3.5, or fewer than 5 products are live in your shop.

Reading the health score needs access to reports: the owner, admins, managers, accountants, viewers and sales managers.

Board report

Click Generate report for a report on the last 30 days: an executive summary, key metrics, the top three risks and opportunities, and actions for the next 30 days. It is built from your sales, number of orders, number of products live in your shop, review rating, Network Search costs, recall notices and plan, and named after the month that began 30 days ago.

Generating again within 24 hours gives the same report, listed again. Your six latest reports are listed on the left; click one to read it.

Generating a report needs finance access (the owner, admins and accountants); anyone who can open the tab can read existing reports.

Predictive SEO

Click Predict keywords for ten keywords likely to trend in the next 30 days, each with a trend score, a category and when it is expected to peak. Predicting again within the same week gives the same keywords. Use the menu on each keyword to track your content for it: Pending, In progress or Published. Predicting keywords needs the owner, admin or manager role.

Cash flow

Click Generate forecast (or Generate new forecast) for a 30, 60 and 90-day outlook, a short explanation and a risk level (low, medium or high). The outlook is estimated from three figures over the last 90 days: your net revenue after refunds, your expenses and your number of ledger entries. It is a rough guide, not a projection of your accounts. Generating one needs finance access.

Inventory

Click Run analysis for restock suggestions: each with a product, its Urgency, how many are In stock, a Suggested qty and a Reason.

  • Only paid orders count (paid, processing, fulfilled, shipped, delivered or completed). Pending, cancelled and refunded orders do not.
  • For each of your 100 best-selling products over the last 90 days, the daily pace is worked out, and the target is 30 days of that pace plus 20% safety stock. The suggested quantity is the target less what you have in stock now. A product already covered is left out.
  • Urgency is how long your current stock lasts at that pace: under 7 days is high, under 14 days medium, otherwise low.
  • Products that do not run out (dropship items, products with stock tracking off, and products that accept backorders) are left out.

Running it needs the owner, admin, manager or staff role. With no paid orders in the last 90 days, the tab says there is nothing to base a restock on yet.

Regulatory radar

On the Scale plan and above, this tab lists recall and safety notices matched to your products. Scan now checks again, and the x on a notice dismisses it. The full workflow is under Settings → Regulatory: see Regulatory radar.

Common questions

Why is Sales channel reach at 0? It counts listings that are live on a connected sales channel. With no channel connected under Channels → Sell everywhere, or no approved listings on one yet, it reads 0.

Can I ask this page a question about my store? No, it has no question box. To ask what a price, stock or launch change might do, use Insights → Digital twin. For help using BestWebby, use the help chat in the dashboard.

Why did I get the same board report twice? A report generated again within 24 hours has the same content. Generate it again the next day for one built from newer figures.
